Last year I helped my friend to set up her fashion boutique on Union Street, and also I got to travel to Las Vegas as an assistant buyer to attend trade shows Magic and Project. It was a lot of fun but a lot of work too as a fashion merchandiser! Happy that friend trusted my fashion taste and asked me to come along! Awesome experience!

Character Design for Animation Project
Happy that I have been given the chance to work on a local animation project to design characters and costumes for the animation.
It's been really fun and I am so happy that I am getting exposed to do work not only in fashion but from other art work as well. It's definitely been very fun and rewarding.
I'm happy to continue building my own brand as a Tailor, Illustrator and Apparel Designer, -T. I. A.
One Week Challenge- to sew 16 pieces of garments in 1 week from pattern making to final sample
I accepted the challenge to work with a local boutique store owner to design samples and to sew samples for 16 looks in one week to make it for a fashion show it was the kind of challenge I like to take on in life, and I can't believe I did it. The owner had given me 16 garments from her own wardrobe and my job was to replicate and make it into a sample. I had to start from pattern first and had to first draft block and sample cutting and then sewing.
Was quite a painful journey of very little sleep and working 12 hours a day but challenge accepted and achieved. I can say that 2013 has been a good year for me.

Denim Designs
Some Denim pieces I have been designing for my work by using illustrator.
Really enjoying designing for denims its fun and when seeing the actual product being made is just a really awesome feeling.
Designing denims can be very challenging, it's very disciplined and specific, have to be careful with every little small details down to the very end finishing and washes. Loving my job and loving what I do!

Love Life Jewelry by Elena Vasilevsky
I have the great privilege to be working as the creative director for the talented, award winning RTW designer Elena Vasilevsky. She's really really creative and not only good at fashion, recently we just launched a jewelry design line, called Love Life Jewels. All the pieces are handmade and designed by the designer herself in NYC. It's been such a rewarding journey being on part of the team and growing the label. Last weekend we did a photo shoot in Soho with new jewelry pieces and and new looks. I got to do some styling work and help to put together the Look book. It's been very difficult to juggle a full time job and also helping Elena at the same time, but I believe it will all pay off in the long run. Here are a few sneak peeks from the photo shoot.
Jewelry made from healing stones turquoise, a powerful purification stone. Designed and made by Elena.

American Eagle Outfitter's Project
A small Spring 2014 Collection Project I had worked on for American Eagle Outfitter's. Collection inspired by photographer Disfarmer's work from the early 1900's.
